In this cooperative game, you stack cards on a board while telling a short, crazy, funny and wacky story, all within 2 minutes. Then, together, you take on the challenge of remembering the story in the correct order. That's when the magic happens: surprises and laughter! Because with the help of all players, having a good memory has never been easier.

Each card correctly remembered in order earns the players 2 points. If a player asks for help, the group still earns 1 point per card, which encourages teamwork and cooperation. Be careful, however, because a wrong guess results in the loss of 1 point for the group. The goal is to improve the collective score each time or climb higher on the success ladder.

The basic rules remain the same in the different versions of Story Box, but each version offers a thematic Expert variant. In Story Box Dreams & Nightmares, the Dreams and Nightmares variant asks you to tell two stories simultaneously within 2 minutes, a dream and a nightmare in two different piles. During the memory phase, you have to remember both stories, which makes this variant challenging and fun.
