The rules in Tzolk'in are simple: either you place a worker on one of the gears, or you remove one. If you place them, you have to pay corn. Corn is the means of payment in Tzolk'in. If you remove a worker from the gears, you also perform that worker's action.

The challenge at Tzolk'in is planning. The gears move every round, so your worker faces a different action every round. Because you have five different gears, you have many different action options. The replayability of Tzolk'in is also enormous! There are many ways that lead to victory.
