We can’t live in the past, we can’t live in the future, we can only live in the now. It’s easy to forget this as our minds are constantly playing tricks on us, we can get lost in our heads…lost to worlds of dreams or worries that often prevent us from taking action in the one thing we can actually control ..the present moment. I painted this piece to remind me to live in the space Eckhart Tolle calls “the now” because at end of the day that is all we really have.
