Buddy Belts are made with soft, supple pebble-grain leather with crystal embellishments.

What makes them unique is the easy to use patented step-in design and the single buckle which fastens across the top of the body rather than to the side or underneath and the reduction of pressure on the throat or trachea. Pressure on this area over time has been shown to cause problems. In some cases, this pressure can significantly affect your dog’s health and, potentially, its lifespan. The easy fitting and adjusting means this harness is a game changer!

Sizing: Extensive size range from teacups upwards. For size guide see image. Weight is for reference only; your dog’s chest measurement is the most important criteria when selecting a size. If your dog falls between two sizes, size down. Buddy Belts are leather and will stretch slightly as they soften and form to your dog’s shape.

Care: Like all quality leather products Buddy Belts should be cared for to ensure it lasts for many years. Before initial wear it is highly recommended that you treat your harness with a quality water and stain repellent product. If your Buddy Belt gets wet, allow it to dry flat at room temperature. Never put leather in the dryer or near a heat source. For suede Buddy Belts, buff with a soft towel to restore the surface. Try to avoid products with silicone and/or wax as these ingredients tend to break down the natural oils in leather. Apply product initially and every two to three months after with regular wear. Please note that the Buddy Belt is not intended for swimming or other full water play. To clean your Buddy Belt, gently blot liquid stains with a damp cloth. Re-treat as necessary.
