The wall mount base is constructed of mild steel and coated using a hot dipped galvanisation process which provides corrosion protection against the elements and is silver in appearance. It's designed to be installed onto vertical wall surfaces and has integrated mounting holes that accept M20 fasteners for securing the base into position. The friction reducing insert sleeve is constructed of thermoplastic which aids in davit rotation. When used as part of a complete system, this base meets the requirements of EN795:2012, EN1496:2006, CEN/TS 16415: 2013, and AS/NZS 5532.
