Sixty-two days. Three phases. One tab. The Ranger School is the U.S. Army’s most demanding small unit tactics and leadership course — forging warriors who can lead in close combat and direct fire battles under the most extreme conditions imaginable. Established in September 1950 at Fort Benning (now Fort Moore), Georgia, the course has changed little because excellence doesn’t need revision.
The 5th Ranger Training Battalion is the home of the Florida Phase — the Swamp Phase — where candidates face water crossings, jungle operations, and small boat tactics in the unforgiving terrain of Eglin Air Force Base. It is where Rangers are finished, not just trained.
This 15oz Black Ceramic Mug honors the Airborne Rangers who earned the right to wear the tab — and the cadre of the 5th RTB who forged them.
Note: Black print on black mug may differ in tones — use transparent background for best results.
Whether you completed Ranger School, served with the 5th RTB, or honor an Airborne Ranger in your life — this mug is your daily reminder that the standard never drops. Start every morning with the same intensity you brought to the swamps of Florida.
5th Ranger Training Battalion. Airborne Ranger. Ranger School. Swamp Phase. Ranger Tab Earned.
Ideal for: Ranger School graduates, 5th RTB alumni, Airborne Rangers, SOF veterans, and military collectors who respect the standard.
