An unusual vintage wooden cash register or receipt dispensing unit bearing the "Caise" name to the front. Constructed with an attractive curved wooden case and fitted with a glass-topped receipt viewing window, metal operating arm, and pull handle, this piece would originally have been used in a retail or commercial setting for issuing and recording receipts.

The mechanism opens and closes correctly, although the receipt-printing function remains untested. Even without confirmed operation, it makes a highly decorative piece of shop history and would display beautifully in a vintage retail interior, office, study, or collection of commercial antiques.

The warm-toned timber case has developed a rich patina over time and retains its original industrial fittings, giving it strong visual appeal.
