These pieces, originally written for violoncello (violin), can be arranged for the clarinet without difficulty due to their simplicity and song-like structure. Korody-Kreutzer mainly kept the original piano part and just made slight adaptations here and there for the clarinet whereas the musical material, which already seemed to have been composed specifically for the clarinet, could be taken over unmodified. These pieces are comparatively easy and suited for a first contact with the well-known composer who never wrote anything specifically for the solo clarinet. Instrumentation: clarinet and piano op. 102
