This is an Islamic artwork. It features a common simple submission of saying used in forms of cultural exclamation, or invocation in Islam. Written in Arabic Thuluth, it recites and means:

Ya Rabbi: Oh My God!

Rabb here also refers to: Lord, Master, Owner.

It is calligraphed many times as a form of Dzikr: an act of remembrance of God by chanting repeatedly. Filled all over in violet-magenta wash, it is a form of overflowing expression within oneself whilst invoking God.
