Meeting all the necessary guidelines, these manual chain hoists are manufactured in compliance with the EU’s explosion-proof standard ATEX94/9/EC and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. The explosion-proof level can reach: EX II2 GD c IIIC T135°C. They are suitable for potentially explosive atmospheres including Zone 1 & 2 (gas) as well as Zone 21 & 22 (dust).

Requiring 20-35% less effort than comparable hoists, these hoists feature a unique hand wheel design that enables users to successfully feed the hand chain directly into the wheel sprocket for multiple angles/directions, reducing the risk of jamming.

Featuring a fully enclosed gear design to prevent contamination from debris, the load chain has a Dacromet® finish that is spark resistant. Furthermore, the hand chain and safety latches are manufactured from stainless steel, while the hooks, hand wheel, and roller guides are copper-plated.

Smooth operation is ensured courtesy of the high-quality gears and shafts run on roller bearings, which also offer maintenance free lubrication.

Each low-headroom hoist is equipped with a protected Weston Brake which holds for the entire operation, as well as a unique twin pawl design.
