This was one of those restaurant-napkin designs during a business trip to Thailand. I was sitting in a booth at a hot-pot restaurant with hot oil spraying everywhere when I envisioned this in my mind. For some reason I didn't have my notebook with me so I grabbed a napkin and sketched it out. My intention was to capture a glimpse of the fleur de lis within a crescent moon to represent the Crescent City. Absolutely love the way this came out. It was one of the very first I created and is one of my most beloved.
