This cylinder lock is constructed of solid brass, it includes a hardened steel tailpiece and a chrome-plated face. The keys and keyway feature patterns designed to aesthetically match other existing Schlage hardware. Use this cylinder lock to add or replace damaged key cylinders in most surface-mount sliding patio door handle sets. It works with both vertical and 45-degree keyways, and it is available keyed-alike by special order. Note: The components of these cylinder locks are not compatible and cannot be rekeyed to match other Schlage locks, nor will Schlage keys fit into this cylinder lock.
