Flying has always been a dream of humans, and Leonardo’s fascination with birds and flight was evident in his studies of birds and different human powered flying machines. His ornithopter design has captured the imagination of people for generations, and we have combined his cool flying machine with one of his bevel gear designs to make a neat working model with flapping wings and a pilot with moving arms and legs. While it remains a mystery if his ornithopter design was ever fully made or tested at the time, there are many ideas (hanging in museums around the world!) of what it might have looked like, and we have added our ideas as well.

Voler a toujours été un rêve pour les humains, et la fascination de Leonardo pour les oiseaux et la fuite était évidente dans ses études sur les oiseaux et les différentes machines volantes actionnées par l'homme. Son design ornithophobe a capturé l'imagination des gens depuis des générations, et nous avons combiné sa machine volante cool avec un de ses modèles d'engrenages coniques pour faire un modèle de travail propre avec des ailes battant et un pilote avec les bras et les jambes en mouvement. Bien qu'il reste un mystère si son dessin d'ornithoptère a été jamais entièrement fait ou testé à l'époque, il ya beaucoup d'idées (suspendues dans des musées à travers le monde!) de ce qu'il aurait pu ressembler, et nous avons ajouté nos idées aussi.
