I’m pretty sure this was once part of a whirligig, but think it's pretty perfect just as it is now, with this clown (who, though I doubt intentional, looks like a woman to me, and also a bit witchy) attached by a couple of screws to the plank behind her, which terminates in a baby blue ball, giving a pom pom to the tip of her darker blue hat! Her arms move, as do her legs, though they have no feet, and I must say with one arm lifted over her head she look a bit provocative! Painted on one side, pencil drawn on the other, and with her legs just balancing on the horizontal plank of the frame; she is only attached to the vertical plank.
9 3/8" t x 7 3/8" w x 1 3/4" d. Made of pine. Structurally sound and stable, wonderfully aged paint and wood, sits flat on a surface.
