Effects of this medicine
This medicine is nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug and inhibits prostaglandin synthesis which causes inflammation to suppress inflammation and ease pains.
It is usually used to improve low back pain, osteoarthritis, shoulder periarthritis, tendinitis/tenosynovitis, peritendinitis, humeral epicondylitis (such as tennis elbow), muscular pain and swelling and pain after injury, and reduce regional pain of joint in rheumatoid arthritis.
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
・In general, apply to the affected area once a day. Strictly follow the instructions.
・DO NOT apply on wounds, mucous membranes or to areas with eczema or rash, which may cause skin irritation.
・If you miss a dose, apply a dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never apply two doses at one time.
・If you accidentally apply more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
・If you have aspirin-induced asthma or a history of it.
・If you have a history of hypersensitivity toward products (such as sunscreen and perfume) including tiaprofenic acid, suprofen, fenofibrate, oxybenzone and octocrylene or photosensitivity.
・If you have bronchial asthema.
・If you often go outside and have much chance to be exposed to sunlight.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
Precautions while taking this medicine
・This medicine may cause photosensitivity (rash of skin regions exposed to sunlight). Cover applied area with colored clothes, supporter, etc. and note that do not expose to sunlight during and after application for the time being.
