An aluminium tread plate, often referred to as an aluminium checker plate, is a kind of metal plate with unique elevated bars that provide a non-slip surface for users, making it extremely adaptable for a variety of sectors. 

In contrast to other plate types, the aluminium checker plate is made by repeatedly imprinting three-dimensional reliefs on the surface during the moulding process known as embossing. This process involves passing a flat sheet between rolls with dies that follow the desired design, and then alternately applying pressure and heat to the sheet.
