This standard parallel jaw-type model is fitted with a spring-loaded gate and un-notched handle, as well as featuring aggressive teeth.

Designed to work with wire sizes from 7.62mm up to 20.32mm (Gauge: 1AWG – 450MCM)

*EHSC (Extra-High-Strength Cable) – This wire is tensioned to ‘guy’ or support poles and is the connecting wire that reinforces a side strain or dead end. It is the wire that is used at the top of the pole to an anchor at ground at an angle for support. The EHSC is much harder than standard guy strand wire and requires a more aggressive grip.

**Messenger Guy Wire – This is a wire that is used to support other cable or conductors and is usually made of steel. The messenger guy wire provides strength so the other cables don’t have to be as strong.
