Tasting Notes: The nose is ridiculous - dense and inviting with grape, fig, molasses, and brown butter rum raisin pound cake, and the longer it opens the more sweet and relaxed it grows in the glass.

The palate is well-coating - again with brown butter rum raisin pound cake, ‘dusty bourbon’ salted caramel and fragrant spice, and smokey sorghum. Does a smoked ham, brie, and fig jam panini with a funnel cake from the fair sound great? I hope so.

The finish is heavy and jammy, drinking much more like an aged rum or cognac than a bourbon at first before settling into that lovely cherry cola, brown sugar, and sweet antique oak we love so much in these 21% bourbons.
