A pair of  box spurs by Maxwell of Piccadilly.

They are silver coloured, probably nickel plated. The plating is pitted on one corner of one arm of the right spur.
The necks are straight.
The spurs have round rowels with scalloped edges and a central star pattern.
The necks are stamped "Maxwell"
The spurs have steel inserts that fit into the heels of the boots
These inserts are stamped "Left" and "Right" and "9, Dover Street, London"

Internal width 7cm (approx 2¾"), neck 5cm (2"), rowel 2cm (¾")
