I found this one in upstate NY near Albany and just thought/think the design really excellent, rendering watermelon slices, complete with arcs of black seeds, in crisp and concise abstracted geometric fashion. Solid color cotton fabrics for the red and two shades of green rind and border; flour sack cloth for the creamy white ground; black thread knots for the seeds, and a red string tie at the center of each block. Feels like summer and also pretty timeless. C. 1930-40s or so I'd guess. 

 32 7/8" x 25 1/4". A handful of scattered stains visible on the sack cloth, as documented. Not major, but visible up close. I have not tried to clean. Otherwise very good condition. Larger than a typical crib quilt, I'm not certain if made as a wall hanging or for a child.
