How to pack it

• Fluff the shisha before packing — do not press it down hard.
• Load to just below the rim so there's clearance for the foil or HMD.
• Foil with heavy-duty 40 µm foil and poke hole patterns, or seat a compatible HMD.
• Start with 2–3 fully ashed natural coals and adjust heat during the session.

Care & maintenance

• Let the bowl cool fully before cleaning — thermal shock damages clay bowls.
• Rinse with warm water only; avoid soap on the clay interior.
• Dry thoroughly between sessions.

It's a large bowl — better suited to shared or longer sessions. For solo, you can pack it lighter or pick a smaller bowl.

Five holes vs phunnel — which is better?

Neither is better, it's a style choice. Five-hole bowls suit foil-based set-ups and offer a different draw character to a phunnel. Our team can talk you through the difference in-store.
