The ZOOM EXH-8 is a modular expander capsule for compatible Zoom recorders (e.g., H8), adding four balanced XLR mic inputs with individual gain controls and –20 dB pad switches. Phantom power can be supplied to condenser microphones via an external power source, making the EXH-8 ideal for field recording, location sound, and multitrack productions.

Mounting effortlessly onto the recorder’s capsule port, the EXH-8 features dedicated track on/off buttons, LEDs, and tactile volume knobs for each channel. The pad switches prevent clipping when connecting line-level sources, while its compact design maintains the recorder’s portability.
