This is a SUPER wide angle CS mount lens that has some internal optics that create no distortion for the resulting image. Because of this, the image is inverted vertically. This CS Lens has been tested to work perfectly with our CS Mount and the PS Eye Camera. It can see a 50 inch horizontal image from a range of 2.3 - 3.9 feet (27.6 - 46.8 inches). This lens is Day/Night corrected so an image will be focused the same in both the visible and infrared planes. Since this is a Vari-focal lens, just twist it to adjust the focal range from 1.8 to 3.0mm, giving you less or more field of view (FOV).

Warning: Due to the current design of the PS Eye CS Mount available on the store here, this is the only lens which must use a filter in order for the image to be in perfect focus. It will still track fingers and objects well but if you need the detail of fiducial tracking, you should use a filter. It will work just fine on other CS cameras though.
