But Becue was built on a different promise: monolithic carbon fiber, unbroken from tip to butt, delivering a level of consistency and power transfer that wood construction simply cannot achieve. We were not willing to compromise that.

WAS is the answer to the question we kept asking ourselves: what if you didn't have to choose?

Wood applied to carbon as a natural veneer, a real layer of timber wrapped around the monolithic carbon fiber structure that defines every Becue cue.

This is not a wood cue with a carbon core.

The carbon structure is intact, uninterrupted, carrying every vibration, every impact exactly as our other cues do.

The wood is real — a genuine wood veneer, not a print, not a texture — but it carries no mechanical role. It does something more subtle: it breathes warmth into your hands.

Joint collar and butt cup are in stainless steel — honest, heavy, material. A deliberate choice that grounds the WAS in industrial clarity while keeping the construction straightforward.
