Here you will find all sizes /types of weaving tools for the Harp Forte looms in widths of 24 and 32 inches, so choose which items best fit your needs from drop down box at upper right and they'll ship right out. Feel free to take advantage of the cheaper shipping (only $1.95!) on additional tools which don't add significant weight or size (or $$ :) to the package. The shorter tools are a cheaper ship to start with AND have very reasonable shipping on multiples.

Pick-Up Sticks: (Sold individually) - The stick is used behind your heddle. One way to look at it is that with a pick-up stick you trick your loom into thinking it is something it is not; you temporarily change the way the warp interacts with the slots and holes on the heddle. The result is a stunning range of patterns. With the heddle in the down shed position, pick up the slot threads behind the heddle using the beveled end of the pick-up stick. One pattern, for example, requires every other one of these slot threads to be picked up – over, under, over, under… Once the stick is completely inserted, bring it forward to the heddle and put it on edge. You can see how this imparts a different, temporary shed opening. This listing is for the longer sticks which require Priority Shipping because of their length. Stick Shuttles: (Sold Individually) - Kromski's Stick Shuttles are some of the best made I've ever seen. They are beveled (Kromski calls this a "knife edge" all down both sides for easy beating and the ULTIMATE easy travel through your work without catching or disturbing any of your yarn or thread. Stick Shuttles are available in the following sizes: 4″, 8″, 12″, 16″ (in their own listing with lower ship costs), 24″ and 32″. Single Clamps: Your Harp Forte comes with two clamps but sometimes you may want to direct warp on the warping peg, so you'd need the 2 for the loom and a third for the peg.

Warping Sticks: (Sold in a pack of 12) - A simple weaving tool, but one that is sure to give your weaving the key to a perfectly tensioned warp. It is easy to use, as you wind your warp on the rear beam use these (3/16" X 1/2") thin wooden warp sticks to create a strong foundation that will support your warp from side to side and from one end to the other. Throw away your heavy paper or cardboard for the right tool. A dozen sticks will handle 2-3 yard warps, and consider two dozen for longer warps. You can never use too many, and you surely do not want to skimp. They have a width and thickness just right for the Harp. This listing is for the longer sticks which must ship via Priority Mail. Warp Helpers: A nice feature to the Kromski Harp Forte is the Warp Helper. Essentially this serves as a very useful 3rd hand. Place the Warp Helper over the side of the loom, behind the heddle. Don’t push it down all the way. It just needs to rest snugly on the side. Slide the Beam Dowel into the hole on the Helper. This listing is for the longer sticks which must ship via Priority Mail.
