The BeWhere BeWired is perfect to track powered outdoor assets and haul equipment, such as chassis or construction vehicles. When fully charged, the BeWired offers up to 1,200 pings without needing to be recharged, giving peace of mind to users if the tracked asset doesn't get powered for a few days.

Use Cases: Outdoor assets with power from 6V to 55V. Ignition and power wiring allows frequent reporting when turned on (down to every 2 minutes); and the internal battery also allows motion reporting when an asset is hauled. 

Example: Trailers, chassis, dry vans, construction equipment on outdoor sites, highway movable signs, generators…

What you can track: Ignition on/off for engine run times, location, GPS-based odometer (min. at 15 mins motion pings; the more frequent, the better the accuracy), location, idle time, distance driven; proper installation is monitored via voltage reading from the device.

Attention: Accurate GPS location requires line of sight and efficient recharging requires a power source. BeWhere uses “cell proximity” to show an approximate location if the GPS does not have a line of sight of the sky.  

Full charge capability of up to 1,200 pings when not recharging (up to 4.2V, empty at 3.5V). Needs approximately 3h of power to recharge when fully drained.  

On-board sensors: Light, Air pressure, Humidity, Temperature, Accelerometer (motion detection). 

Recommended Reporting Frequency: The tracker will send a ping every 15 to 30 minutes when the asset is moving (2 mins on ignition and power), once a day when the asset is stationary. More aggressive reporting requires regular recharge. A ping combines GPS location and sensors information.
