This 1:72 scale diecast model recreates the Consolidated B-24D Liberator #42-72815 "Sky Witch," operated by the 400th Bombardment Squadron, 90th Bombardment Group "Jolly Rogers" at Biak, Indonesia, in November 1944. Modified with a B-24J style nose turret and auxiliary fuel tanks for extended visual reconnaissance, this aircraft is famous for surviving a grueling 40-minute engagement against nine Japanese A6M5 Zeros, successfully returning to base with vital intelligence after a 1,000-mile flight.

This Collector Series release captures the rugged Olive Drab finish and iconic "Jolly Rogers" tail insignia of the 90th BG.
