This piece, along with all of my pieces, has been entirely hand stitched by me.  For this lovely green and brown wool penny rug I used rich hand-dyed wool by Mavis Butterfield. 

The piece measures a large 16 1/2" x 29" and makes a wonderful primitive table topper, especially during Yuletide but it is also wonderful year-round.    The piece is complete with a wool backing made from the same lovely green herringbone wool that you see on the top.  Lots of hand stitching and time went into this one.  You'll find my initials on the back.
