The ETC ECPB DMX OUT provides a fixed DMX512 output connection point for distributed lighting control systems in permanent installations. Designed for venues that need control access from multiple locations, this electronic control plug-in box supports surface or flush-mount installation and is suited to theatres, auditoriums, television studios, houses of worship, museums, casinos, and hospitality environments.

This model is part of ETC’s ECPB family, built to integrate with standard architectural workflows. Most models fit standard RACO back boxes, helping contractors streamline rough-in planning. Low-voltage Class 2 wiring is used for data connections, and voltage barriers are provided when Class 1 and Class 2 terminations share the same faceplate. Terminal blocks are supplied for contractor terminations, supporting clean field wiring in installed systems.

The faceplate is made from 0.80 in aluminum with a fine-texture, scratch-resistant black powder coat and white legends as standard. Custom legends are available when project identification is required. For projects needing different mounting approaches, ETC also supports surface-mount back boxes and an optional U-bolt pipe-mount kit for use with surface-mount back boxes. DMX inputs and outputs support termination of Belden 9729 or equivalent, as well as Category5 cable.
