The Geneva Academy GMF-EU105 Bb Euphonium is designed to give developing players access to a rich, broad and singing low brass sound. Its gold lacquered brass body, 14.4mm bore and 300mm bell encourage tonal depth and projection, while Monel pistons and responsive bottom spring valve action support reliable performance across the register. Cupronickel tuning slides, alloy water keys and a practical plush-lined ABS case make it well suited to lessons, bands and regular ensemble use. Developed through collaboration between Geneva specialists, external designers and licensed manufacturing facilities, the Academy Euphonium reflects Geneva’s free-blowing approach while remaining accessible for education pathways and leisure musicians. PRE-PLAYING PREPARATION
• Check all valves/slides move freely.
• Apply valve oil as required and ensure tuning slides are correctly seated.
• Empty any excess moisture before playing.
• Inspect mouthpiece fit and case contents.

POST-PLAYING MAINTENANCE
• Empty water keys and remove moisture from the instrument.
• Wipe exterior lacquered surfaces with a soft cloth.
• Remove mouthpiece and clean with warm water when required.
• Store securely in the supplied case.

MONTHLY GENEVA CLEANING REGIME
• Clean mouthpiece thoroughly using a mouthpiece brush.
• Wipe and re-lubricate valves and tuning slides.
• Check screws, valve caps and water keys.
• Inspect for dents, alignment issues or air leaks.
• Follow Geneva's owner maintenance programme and arrange annual Geneva workshop servicing.
