The EXTRA LONG Traditional 100% Indian cotton Nidra Yoga Blankets are ideal for yoga practice because they fold and roll well. These have a Herringbone pattern running through them and can also be used as a lovely sofa blanket or bedspread cover.

You can place the blanket under your head or fold the blanket up to allow additional lift and height in seated forward (Paschimottanasana) and shoulder stands (Salamba Sarvangasana). It is an ideal prop to cover up during Savasana or to wrap around you during meditation to keep you warm. This blanket is also much heavier and denser than our Fleece Relaxation Blankets.

The herringbone pattern of the yoga blanket is in natural and fresh colors. Thus, the cotton blanket can be used for yoga, but in addition, it also looks very nice as a sofa blanket or bedspread.

We recommend you avoid washing your blanket unnecessarily, as this can accelerate fraying at the edges. So if you do want to wash your cotton blanket, use a little detergent and a cool delicate wash cycle (no more than 30 degrees). Allow lots of time to air dry with the blanket completely unfolded. If you have to spin dry it, use a slow, cooler setting.
