Rustic - Dried figs - Spice

This is a proper old school rustic Italian wine, perfect for enjoying on a cold night with robust winter dishes - think big stews, meaty ragu, game... Absolutely delicious and just like a big Piedmont classic.

On the nose there's game and leather, on the palate you'll find generous fruit, dried figs, herbs and spice, then - bang! The classic Italian attack of tannins and astringency. This was one of the best selling wines at our festive Super Natural Wine tasting and no wonder - it's an ideal winter red.

Please note: this wine does contain sediment, so we suggest decanting and pouring carefully.
