This built in technology will turn the transformer off when connected to a electrical device that is too powerful for the transformer. Thermal Protection Thermal protection is a protection that gets activated by a fuse inside the transformer converter when it is too hot or overheats. This can happen sometimes when the transformer is overused or used on a appliances that is very close to the max watts of the transformer. We suggest to buy a transformer that is at least double the wattage so that this protection doesn’t activate. If you wil be using the transformer in a place that is hot, then try using a larger transformer then you normally would for that device.
