Courtelle is a synthetic fiber created in England that is strong, durable, colorfast, machine washable, and wrinkle free. This wonderful dress is made of a thick jersey fabric that is soft but has the weight and feel of a wool jersey minus the scratchy texture. This will be so cozy when the warm weather fades and there's a nip in the air. Puff sleeves are accented by little embroidered cuffs, and a larger embroidery motif decorates the bottom hem. The front closes with large round buttons, and the stretch fabric is hip hugging.

Good fit for a size 8/10 modern - Bust 38", waist 34", hip 42", Length 53", sleeve opening 13". Excellent vintage condition. Fabric has some stretch to it.
