The Kahlo Tabard is a wonderfully practical slip-on layer with a simple, workwear-inspired shape. The under-layer wraps to the back and fastens with a button, while the outer layer wraps to the front and ties neatly with chunky grosgrain ribbon. With a lined bodice and oversized pockets for tools, threads and everyday treasures, it is a useful, characterful make for creative days.

Suggested fabrics include cotton, linen, denim, needlecord or wool. Choose a fabric with a little body to show off the shape and keep those lovely pockets feeling sturdy.

150cm wide fabric: Sizes 8–14, 2.5m // Sizes 16–28, 3.5m
145cm wide fabric: Sizes 8–12, 2.5m // Sizes 14–28, 3.5m
140cm wide fabric: Sizes 8–10, 2.5m // Sizes 12–28, 3.5m

You will also need:
• 3m of 1.5 inch grosgrain ribbon or other matt tape
• 5cm of 2–5mm wide elastic
• 1 small button, approx. 1cm diameter
