If you're not familiar with damascene jewelry, you should be. It's absolutely beautiful! There are two different countries where this type of damascene has been made popular, Spain and Japan. 

Damascening is the art of inlaying different metals into one another—typically, gold or silver into a darkly oxidized steel background—to produce intricate patterns. 

This pair of earrings has a traditional Spanish floral theme, most likely made in Toledo, Spain. Very lightweight with an English Lock closure for pierced ears.
