Be a blue velvet 80's-does-50's dream in this lovely party dress...

This fantastic dress is so classic, it looks like it could come from almost any era! It features a simple, fit and flare silhouette. The bodice is made from a deep, blue-black color velvet, with a high neckline and just a touch of sleeve going past the shoulder line. The mid section and skirt are made of a crinkle taffeta in midnight blue, with a beautiful iridescent sheen. The skirt is lightly flared, and the wait is ruched, then finished with a self-fabric rose coil!! Skirt is lined with a thin black tulle skirt (for volume) whereas the bodice is unlined but contains light shoulder pads. The back of the bodice also reveals a lovely design feature, with a daringly open back (for its time), finished with a lovely rhinestone-centered button closure. There is also a center back nylon zipper closure as well. The label reads 'Special Times by Patty O'Neil, size 6, Made in the U.S.A. (Union-made), top 100% rayon, bottom 100% acetate, Dry Clean Only'. The only flaw is a tiny little slit at the upper left shoulder, please see final photograph for full details.
