Brasil em Concerto" is a project led by the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This work is by Carlos Gomes, one of the pioneering Brazilian composers who achieved success in Europe. He studied at the Rio de Janeiro Conservatory under the Italian composer Joacchino Gianni, and in 1861, soon after graduation, he performed his first opera, "Night at the Castle. Two years later, his second opera, "Joana de Flandres," also gained popularity. In 1870, he premiered "The Gwarani Man" at La Scala, based on a story of the Brazilian natives, and it was so well received that it was compared to Rossini and Verdi. It was so well received that it was compared to Rossini and Verdi. After that, he continued his creative activities while traveling back and forth between Brazil and Italy, and by the time of his death at the age of 60, he had left behind a total of eight operas, choral works, piano pieces, etc. He is highly regarded as an opera composer.
