The head on the HVBS-8-DMW miters up to 45 degrees in both directions. This lets you cut compound angles and change between miter positions without rearranging the workpiece or the machine. Hydraulic Downfeed Control Regulates Feed Rate

A hydraulic cylinder controls head pressure and descent throughout the cut. Feed rate is adjustable to match the material being cut, whether that is solid round stock, rectangular bar, or lighter-wall tubing. Consistent downfeed pressure reduces blade deflection and keeps cuts square from start to finish.

Built-In Blade Brush Protects Guide Life

A self-propelled blade brush runs continuously during operation to clear chips from the blade guides before they can pack in and cause blade drift. Keeping the guides clean extends blade life and maintains tracking accuracy without any manual clearing between cuts.

Horizontal-to-Vertical Conversion Adds Cutting Capacity

The saw converts from horizontal to vertical operation to give you a 16 inch by 10 inch vertical cutting table when the job calls for it. The table sits at 27-5/16 inches and handles cuts up to 8 inches round and 7 by 8 inches rectangular at 90 degrees. Wheels on the base let you move the machine to the work rather than moving heavy stock to the saw.
